Terms & Conditions

  • Invoice must be paid in full before it can be collected or loaded to be delivered.
  • Storage fees apply after 2 weeks if not arranged prior to purchase.
  • Please check your sizes carefully, we will refund less a handling fee (fee dependent on the size of the item $10 - $50) the shipping cost will not be refunded.
  • Invoices to be paid in full by the due date or the item will be up for re-sale & if any deposit has been made this will be refunded in full.
  • We do not offer a door to door service if outside the conditions stated herewith. You will need to meet the truck with your trailer unless arranged prior to purchase.

DELIVERY Terms & Conditions:

Most of our customers pick up the goods themselves as they can inspect and make payment at the same time.

We offer a delivery service from Awanui to Auckland on State Highway 1 or 10 only or within a certain radius of the main towns as stated below. We have very strict conditions however due to the size trucks we use which are en-route to Auckland so we also have time constraints to deal with.

Special deliveries can be arranged (Northland wide only) using a vehicle and a 4 metre long A-frame trailer (for joinery only) if we have other deliveries in the area. Someone (strong if large item) will need to be home to assist the driver to help unload at your end or additional fees apply if another person is required to unload.

Central Kerikeri*, Ohaeawai*, Central Whangarei* & Central Auckland& anywhere in between Awanui & Auckland on either State Highway 1 or 10 only!   Our delivery service is very reasonably priced & we take great care with your purchase.

Driveways must be wide enough & well-formed otherwise items will be left at the gate we will not put our drivers & trucks at risk, you may have to bring a trailer to the gate to ferry down / up your driveway (the item(s) cannot be left on the truck as they will get in the way for the return load).

Do not expect the driver & his off-sider to lift the purchased item(s) if weighing more than 70Kgs more than 10 metres from where the truck can gain access.

We do not offer a door to door service if outside the conditions stated herewith.  You will need to meet the truck with your trailer unless arranged prior to purchase.

*We class Central Kerikeri as an address within a 2 KM radius from the town Centre. Special trips will be considered but must be arranged prior to purchase & may take longer than 10 working days.

*We class Central Whangarei as an address within a 5km radius of the CBD. Special trips will be considered but must be arranged prior to purchase & delivery times may take longer than 10 working days.

*We class a Central Auckland address is within a 15 km radius from the CBD, please note if you pick up from our storage depot in Penrose, Auckland at a convenient time for both parties the costs are a lot less.

Shipping times:

We endeavor to get your purchase to you within 10 working days.

We can give advice on who to use once you have purchased your goods if needing a door to door service or if going further South than Papatoetoe Auckland.  We do not package up doors for freight, you are best to use a house removal specialist so items are looked after & blanketed individually.

Back 2 Wood Demolition is not responsible for length of transit times or damage to goods received during freight if using an alternative carrier other than ourselves. We take every care & responsibility for what we carry.

Driveway access must be:

  • 3 metres wide at the entrance - suitable for a large 8 wheeler truck
  • With a well formed compacted driveway
  • No low lying branches or power lines etc 

If not, your item(s) will be left at the gate.

Deliveries Times:

We endeavor to get your purchase to you within 2 weeks between Awanui - Auckland  and Northland wide.

For deliveries South of Auckland and the South Island, we contract out to other freight forwarders so we can't give specifics on their behalf.

 

Shipping

We offer a delivery service from Awanui to Auckland most weeks which is very reasonably priced & we take great care of your purchase(s). Payment must be received in full before they are loaded on the truck.

We deliver to Auckland addresses within a 15km radius of the Auckland CBD.

Or we can deliver anywhere along State Highway 1 from Awanui to Auckland.  Customers often meet our truck with their trailers on SH1 at a convenient & safe spot to pull over (if South of Whangarei) due to the size trucks we use & drivers' time constraints. If the purchase is a large consignment of joinery ie a house lot we may look at going off SH1.

Special deliveries Northland-wide (from Whangarei to the Far North). We use either an A-frame trailer with a tow wagon or a furniture box body truck so driveway access needs to be disclosed prior to delivery, transit times may be longer for remote areas to coincide with other deliveries in your area. Please enquire for a quote & time frames.

Our obligation is to the gate only, we will en devour to get your good(s) as close to the site as possible this will be at the driver’s discretion.

We can also arrange Nation-wide deliveries please enquire & we’ll get you a quote.

Payments

Purchasing Policy:

Back 2 Wood Demolition is GST registered.  Invoices are provided on all sales, as required by the purchaser.

All goods purchased through Trade Me must be paid for in full and transportation arrangements made within 3 working days of auction closing, unless otherwise arranged. Failing this, auctions will be re-listed.

Please read through our terms and conditions prior to purchasing or placing a bid as all sales are final and non-refundable.

Warranty And Returns

Warranty & Replacement Policy:

The purchaser must check goods received and report any damages or faults to Back 2 Wood Demolition by e-mail within 48hrs of having received the goods. Please specify the item title and auction number. We reserve the right to refuse any claims that are made after this time frame.

Back 2 Wood Demolition does not accept any item return by COD. The return freight must be paid for entirely by the Purchaser, who must make contact with us for approval prior to returning the goods.

Refunds will only be offered where liability is accepted by the Seller and a replacement is not available.

All warranty claims must be made by the original purchaser of the item. Warranty is not transferable beyond original purchaser.

Your invoice, delivery docket, purchaser details will be required as proof of purchase.

Warranty Does Not Cover:

  • Damage from freight.
  • Normal wear & tear.
  • Damage from using goods for a purpose for which they were not designed.

The majority of materials sold by Back 2 Wood Demolition are recycled and some goods are sold as lower grades or seconds and this is clearly noted in these auctions. Faults and damage are inherent in these grades and we do our best to describe all our products as accurately as we can.

Back 2 Wood Demolition must receive all returns within 14 days from accepted delivery. If an item is returned after the 14 days from accepted delivery, we reserve the right to refuse claims made after this time frame. Item returns to be approved and authorized by Seller before an arranged return is executed.

Refund Policy:

Second hand goods are sold in a ‘as is’ condition and all care is taken to describe them as accurately as possible. Refunds will not be offered if buyer changes their mind, or if item is 'not what you expected'. All items must be returned to us for full assessment BEFORE refund will be issued. Refunds are processed by Back 2 Wood Demolition after the goods have been fully checked and the buyer advised of the outcome by e-mail.

*Please note it is very rare that goods have been returned and a refund issued.
